Last July 31, 2009, the School Protection Program sponsored by the CSUPT. PERFECTO P PALAD (RD, PRO4 CALABARZON) thru SSUPT RONALD V SANTOS (R3, PRO4A) led by Dr. ADIEL DE TORRES (Executive Director) with a security team and lecturers from the 2nd COY RMG led by PO2 RUEL MAMATO were in said school. It was a delight to have more than 400 students and faculty members gather in their gymnasium. An amazing acapella of the national anthem was sung at the opening and a well received lectures ensued. The Dangerous Drugs Prevention, Crime Prevention, and Behavioral Change lecturers were positively accepted. Hundreds responded to a change of heart during the decision time led by Pastor Adiel. It was honor to have met with the Executive Director of BSU, Mrs. Cecila Clanor Mendoza. She graciously invited back the team to a bigger audience that could reach the 20,000 students of the BSU in five campuses. We are thankful to our local coordinator Pastor Fidel Rearte for his desire to make a positive influence in this place. The Batangas Provincial Coordinator, Pastor Alex Ocampo along with two more local coordinators were on hand also. Likewise the Nasugbu Municipal Police was represented in the event.
