Last July 10, Task Force Tagaligtas' director, Dr. Adiel De Torres, with Pastor Alex Ocampo (Batangas Provincial Coordinator), Emil Referente (TFT staff) PO3 Sonny Fajutag and PO1 Vincent Bugnay (PRO4A PCR), PO1 Dennis Luci (RMG 2COY) conducted dangerous drugs prevention, crime prevention, values formation at two national high schools in Cuenca, Batangas. The team was at Cuenca National High School in the morning with about 100 4th-year high-school students in attendance. Mrs. Gloria Arada, the school principal was very accomodating and has allowed us to let Pastor Alex Ocampo minister to their school on a weekly basis. The same was also true with Fermin De Rosa National High-School which had us in the afternoon inspites of the heavy rain downpour. Mrs. Gloria Castillo, the school principal was a great host and almost all the 800 students present accepted the Lord in a simple prayer and vowed to stay away from dangerous drugs and be productive citizens of their town. The local police of the town headed by their Deputy chief-of-police PInsp. Casoy where also on hand to assist and help in this program.
